Antelopes are common in southen Alberta and we saw quite a few of them. Cattle fences are no barrier to antelopes, they simply jump right over.

Antelopes are wary of vehicles like most wildlife but they will stand and stare near fences as you drive by. But note, if you stop your vehicle, the antelope are gone. We are not sure why, but it may relate to their learned knowledge about stopped vehicles having gun-carrying hunters in them.
