A screwed-up tire on Tiggy.
Breakfast at the B and B took a little longer than anticipated because another couple staying there was visiting from Scotland. We spent a wonderful couple of hours chatting about life here and there, as well as few other places around the world they and/or we had been to.
We then went over (three minutes drive) to say goodbye to family at Korynn's place.
We were barely on the highway south from Kelowna before a low tire pressure light came on in our car. We pulled into a KalTire and they removed a screw and patched the tire. Off we went.
We picked up our fall shipment at Wild Goose Vineyards and followed that by a quick visit to an old friend from Fairview Cellars, now the owner of Chapel Hill Vineyards. Bill Eggert is still as colourful as he has always been.
We settled into a motel in Osoyoos for the night.
At breakfast we met a wonderful couple visiting from Scotland and found that we had so much in common in our travels! It makes me want to visit that country now!
After our "Good Byes" (and a few tears), we headed out in Tiggy and, as Lee notes, we apparently were informed by Tiggy's instruments that we were heading along with a tire deflation issue. Fortunately just ahead was a KalTire shop that quickly got us back on the road.
In our winery visitation memories as we ventured into the wine country, we just HAD to stop by some old haunts. Yes, a wee stash should carry us through the winter. Maybe LOL.
It was a busy day, and our Osoyoos motel will no doubt hear the snores tonight.
