And then the rain came down.

We met up with Aaron and Steph at the University of Alberta Devonian Garden. Lez and I had not been there since before our Roads Less Gravelled adventure.

After a nice lunch we wandered through the gardens. There is more to see than can be taken in on one day so we made a note to come back. Aaron and Steph have been there many times so they were able to show us around.

We were in a far corner of the Garden when the rain started. We took shelter in the David Thompson cabin as the rain came down heavily. Once it let up, we made a dash for the entrance. We were soaked but had a great time. Then, time to drive home and get dried out.

We will be back for sure. It is 10-12 minutes drive from our apartment.
