We walked the south trail in Clifford E. Lee Nature Reserve today. The main trail with the removed raised walking path is a little too difficult for Lez.
Lots of flowers along this path, plus a nice view of a family of Canada Geese. The goslings are growing up fast. We were stopped about halfway down the trail due to a downed aspen tree.
We returned to the car and drove to the main parking lot. At the picnic benches near the entrance we were entertained by a couple of squirrels who are obviously not alarmed by humans.
We wandere as far as Lez could go and were approached by a family of ducks. Also not too concerned with humans.
As we returned to the car, we happened upon two beautiful butterflies. Lez managed to get one to sit on her finger.
