Hab a nodder habanero.
Family apartment, Parksville BC
Time to visit our former neighbours at Surfside RV. We sat on the Atkinson deck for hours and were joined by the Holdens. Conversation turned to the hot peppers that Ron Atkinson uses in his cooking. A typical one is Habanero. Well, we just had to try some. It turns out that Janice Holden is not affected much by the spicyness of the peppers. We were amazed.
A good time with good friends.
If you ever want to know what a burning tongue or mouth feels like, just bite right into a Habanero. And it burns for hours. I was able to nibble a little without too much of a singe, although a day later, as I get around to typing this, there is a little reminder in the tummy.
We enjoyed conversation topics all over the map. In the shelter from the wind at the Atkinson's place there was not a moment of akward silence.
