Damn gopher hole.
Pioneer RV Park, Whitehorse YT (1 star)
Lee headed out to see the Yukon Transportation Museum and then run some chores. Hmm. Closed on Tuesdays. Oh well, looked at some of the outdoor exhibits through the chain link fence. And then, along the fence, he stepped into a gopher hole. Never done that before. It was hidden by grass and as he went down, so did the camera.
Lee is fine but the zoom lens on that camera needs to go in for service. Arrangements have been made to send it to Edmonton. SO now Lez will use the other camera with the longer zoom lens and Lee will learn to use the static 50mm lens on the camera he dropped. It should be fun.
We had a great cheese fondue tonight, talking about many, many things. We are ready to leave here tomorrow.
Well it has been MANY wash days since the last time we had to hang dry a good portion of our laundry. The dryers at our campground are less than stellar. The "heat" setting is definitely not hot. After two 30 minute dryings we brought home the damp laundry and it is hanging on the portable dryer stand outside in a cool breeze. The haze from forest fires is hanging and covering any sunshine that may be out there. A noise at the door has interrupted my blog writing. The main door is not closed is the fresh breeze is wafting in.
We have a squirrel clinging to the screen section of the door. My suspicions are he can smell the fresh bread baking in the breadmaker. The place truly smells like a great bakery!
