Just sliding along.

Surfside RV Resort, Parksville BC (2 stars)

Lee is working up a sweat and exercising his elbows as he loads and unloads slides into the HP scanner. It is tedious, but worthwhile.

Lee hopes to share some of those old pictures soon on the zwaal.ca website.

Lez takes on a challenge: The fabric company Trend Tex (Ontario) rep and I were emailing, and she asked if I would be interested in making a sample quilt for them for the upcoming Quilt Canada conference in Vancouver in June. I figure sure- why not! So today was making a sample of the block using my own fabrics and then starting on the actual quilt. It is baby quilt size - 38" x 44". So nose to the grind stone for the next few days. A blustery rainy day helped the staying inside and sewing decision. Hobbes snoozed in his corner - occasionally sniffing the pile until he determined our ski jackets on the bed were more comfy. Worked great - I got the whole table to myself!
