Hobbes has no fear of larger animals.

Lee takes Hobbes out for his first walk, before breakfast, and what does he spot - a couple of deer munching vegetation near our Schooner.

What happens next is a remarkable view of animals in the wild. The smaller deer, a fawn, is curious about Hobbes. Hobbes is similarily interested in this large animal. They end up nose to nose for just a few seconds and then go their own way. So cute.

Lez jumps: The door flew open and Lee dashed in and was gone in an instant - camera in hand. Lez dubs the dear and cat nose to nose as Bambi and Flower. The olde movie is a must to see again.

I took pictures tonight and hoping we will see the Generals one more time here in Parksville. We have been sitting in a section with various members of the van Herk family and we make a lot of noise when grand-son Brady is involved in a goal.
