Lee notes that communication advancements in recent years has been great. Case in point, he gets to watch the Oil Kings games live via a streaming package. This is great in itself, but then you add the fact that the Oil Kings are number one in Canada. They are so GREAT to watch.

Lez notes - Time to stock up: Our morning walk took us up to Thrifty's for a few groceries including a Ceasar Salad and Spanikoptas for lunch. The clear blue skies and warm sun felt so good. After lunch we set up the mid-arm quilting machine (inside) and I spent much of the day quilting another grain elevator quilt that will adorn our wall. Not much else got done, as I went on to the computer to catch up on email from the last couple of days, and to go through the photos we'd taken since our walkabout at Shelly Park.

Another quiet and easy day that ended with a live stream of the Edmonton Oil Kings who clinched a playoff spot in the 2022 WHL Playoffs with their 7-2 win over the Calgary Hitmen tonight. Yes, it was a good day.
