Mapping the travels.

Surfside RV Resort, Parksville BC (2 stars)

Lee spent most of the day creating a 2021 Northern Prairies route map using Google Maps and getting it ready to copy to the big map. Naturally, thoughts turned to 2022 and Lee then reworked the 2022 Sask Manitoba leg of our travels to see if it would coordinate with the fixed events we have planned. Luckily, yes it does. He's getting excited to go.

Lez notes: a quiet day. Another quilt top is being worked on. This one is a project for the Parksville Quilt House Quilt Guild. The pieces are already cut, just need sewing together. However, they create a pattern when sewn together, so one must pay attention to which piece is sewn to which other piece.

Photos were also re-named, and cropped or edited and more taken. This batch of photos are of the WHL (Western Hockey League) Oil Kings vs the Regina Pats game tonight. We have held WHL season tickets in the past - to each team in the two cities when we lived in them. Our season tickets to the Regina Pats go back to the early 1970's. Lee used to go with his mom to the games. I joined up when a new arena was being built and season ticket holders got dibs on the new stadium. When we moved to Edmonton, we switched to the NHL Edmonton Oilers until the 2012 NHL players strike. We missed live hockey, looked into the Edmonton Oil Kings season tickets and became staunch fans - to this day. I miss their live hockey, but we can live stream the games. When we need a fix of live hockey, the Oceanside Generals in Parksville are a great evening's entertainment.
