Let's hope this is the start of more decent weather.

Surfside RV Resort, Parksville BC (2 stars)

It turned out to be a pretty nice day today, with temperatures reaching +6c and some sunshine. Even Hobbes had to squint out there as he enjoyed the warm rays.

Lez squints: But does not complain. The day is much warmer, and the wind somewhat subsided. I started the morning off with a wee walk to take in the sunshine. The Starlings were chirping up a frenzy as they too were enjoying the balmy weather. OK, it was a walk to the garbage bins, but it was a nice walk! The Parkville Bay - Community Park Boardwalk was filled with people all day, cars coming and going, parking lots full. A nice little respite from the winds, rains and waves.

A relaxing day, working on the photos too and the bright sunshine cheers everyone.

As we have taken to doing, ended the day with a schmaltzy movie and a shot of port.
