Blowing like mad from the south.

Surfside RV Resort, Parksville BC (2 stars)

Lee feels the Schooner rocking this morning, with little abatement. Lez has gone to a Quilt Guild meeting, but Lee and Hobbes are staying put. Well, sort of. Hobbes is crying to go out so finally Lee harnesses him up and takes him out. You guessed it, Hobbes makes a beeline for the door. In and out in 30 seconds flat.

Lez smiles - every day offers new adventures: Today was the first real quilt guild meeting attended since 2020. We had a wonderful presentation from Catherine Nicolls from Gibsons, B.C. Quite the inspiration for drawing, painting, mixing media to make quilted wall hangings. A bonus - I won a door prize! Thank you to Kismet Quilting in Port Albertni for the pattern and Christmas fabric!

I also picked up some QOVC fabric from Chris in Parksville, will be able to test the new patterns I am working on, and have more blocks to add to the quilts. It is getting more comfortable driving and parking Chuck, after two visits to the parking lot by Thrifty's and Bosley's (pet store). LOL each new pickup we've purchased has been bigger than the previous one. And Parksville parking is not prepared for the size of Chuck - a unit needed to take our Schooner across the country.

A great surprise in the pet shop as cousin Janice recognizes my voice. She and cousin Herb are also shopping for their pet (dog). We chatted about Christmas dinner at my mom's this year, and we will definitely have to have a dinner at our place!
