So, that is what a CD sounds like.

Surfside RV Resort, Parksville BC (2 stars)

OK, up and at 'em at the crack of dawn. Well, how about the crack of noon.

Lee started out by replacing the stereo unit with the new one. About 20 wires to re-connect, but they were marked. It's so nice to play our recorded music again.

Lez ZONES:

Our estuary is bloated as the Englishman River brings more water and debris than usual through. We are safe at our site. The rain has abated this evening, but last night it sounded like it poured all night. All is not well though, as the news feed on the internet is filled with the incredible flooding and mud slides and roads being covered or washed out throughout the lower mainland of BC. Travel has been interupted on pretty much all of the the roads between Vancouver and Kamloops. Roads, bridges, towns and even Merritt - under water. The Clearwater campground we stayed in outside Merritt is likely evacuated - as the whole town is! There basically is no real safe way to reach our west coast lower mainland from anywhere by land. As the night takes over, the rain is turning to snow in the mountains - and likely beyond across to the Prairies. Thankful we are here safe and sound, and hoping everyone out there is safe.
