Lee wonders if the wind will ever abate around here. Next March, of course! LOL. In actual fact, it is not that bad; it could be -25c and snowing.

Lez notes: The actual weather statement today: "Strong southeast winds developing tonight. Threat: Southeast winds 70 kmph gusting to 90." Oh - and rain every day/all day from now until next Monday.

The Instant Pot was put to work again - with the package of various peas and dried vegtables and spices to make a Mulligitawny soup - in less than an hour! Some now freezing.

I'm enjoying working on the tree skirt - pinned the layers for quilting - likely tomorrow. I also have the wolf quilt to to layer and quilt. I will get it all pinned together today, and then can set up the mid-arm quilting machine and enjoy the quilting part of making a quilt and a quilted item tomorrow.

We survived a trauma . we cut Hobbes nails today. And made it through without a scratch. Yes, he got special treats for his patience. Now where's that beer!

With the setting back the clock to end this year's Daylight Saving Time we now have the evening darkness come earlier. As I type, it is approaching 4:30pm and it is getting darker already. Not a fan of that process.
