So, sunshine is back, and the winds are much more tolerable. Lee started on the task of replacing the velcro fasteners on the slide cover with dome fasteners. Apparently, dome fasteners is an old, no longer used term (Lee learned it from his dad, the upholsterer). They are now called press fasteners, which is why it took so long to find a store that sold them. Anyways, slide covers are half done.

Lez is covered in thread bits: As Lee is busy outside, I have been working on the backing for tree-skirt. An otherwise quiet day. As evening approached, we cleaned up our respective projects and headed over to Colleen and John's picking up take-out dinner along the way. After dinner, the guys went off to watch the Oil Kings streaming via Lee's laptop, and I set up my laptop so Colleen and I could join a Zoom session with the other "Ladies Night" Macarena group. Neither of us had any success in tethering to our phones or to the Shaw service! No idea why things didn't work, but the guys found sports to watch, and us girls joined the Macarena via her tablet. When we got back home, Lee had no issues watching the streamed hockey game. We have no explanation. We still had a great evening enjoying visiting friends.
