We spent part of the day with the Lunds from Edmonton, who are visiting the island. As we drove around, we were also able to do our first island 'stock up', which means the Dutch Store, Goats on the Roof and French Creek. And we also enjoyed a nice lunch/dinner with Brenda and Les at the French Creek Pub.

Lez and Lee are tour guides for the day: We had a great day wandering the Coombs area, checking out the shops and enjoyed fish and chips as only you get on the coast. The weather cooperated and we were able to check out the surf at French Creek - high waves! Later in the evening, before it got dark, we went for a sea wall walk and noticed a few Brant Geese on the sandbar as the tide was out. They are on their way south, just a few of them, as the majority follow a trans-Pacific route south (according to Google).
