The calm before the storm.

Port Ordze, Sherwood Park, AB (2 stars)

Lee converted the training room into a receiving hall today. On election night, 34 supervisors will be slogging in, tired and wanting to go home. The trick is to get the right supervisor's stuff into the right cubbie Lee has set up.

OK, home to sleep and tomorrow we vote.

Lez enjoying a day off from election work. Lee thinks I am enjoying some down time in the Schooner. Rebuilding the energy I will need tomorrow - voting day. LOL.

Well, it was time to defrost the refrigerator - which took about 2 hours. It requires moving Hobbes' potty out of the way so I can actually reach the back of the freezer; and then boiling water to speed up the thaw of the baffles in the fridge that get frost filled. Meanwhile, frozen goods and fridge items need to remain frozen or cold in camping coolers etc. Of course, ice chips hit the floor during the cleaning process (which is another reason to move Hobbes litter box), and after all the shelves are cleaned and items back in place, the kitchen floor needs washing. Then all is well, and will redo in another month. Yes a self defrost fridge in the "next" RV/home will be a must.

Bathroom was cleaned next. Then, I made a new batch of pita chips! Steaks were marinated all day, and a batch of veggies prepped for the BBQ for Lee to cook dinner when he got home. A bottle of wine was consumed with dinner.

Bring on Election Day 2021.
