Chuck brings Lez home.

Port Ordze, Sherwood Park, AB (2 stars)

Lee got further into work, including a visit to another riding with a rookie Materials Coordinator who needed some advice. Then a quick stop for his first-ever cortisone shot (bad finger). After some hours of work, Lez called and it was time to pick her up.

Chuck is kind of high, so Lee brought along a step stool so Lez could reach the running board (one small step for womankind, etc.).

A peaceful evening and Lez is feeling pretty good (albeit easily tired at this point).

Lez is hungry: It's Tuesday morning, and I have had no food since Sunday midnight. Surgery was successful, now the challenge is to heal when those tummy muscles are used for so much.

ALL the doctors and nurses, support staff at Sturgeon are super busy, but still give the smile and kind words of encouragement as they check with patients. The Sturgeon is very clean and cheerful. And relatively quiet in that particular full ward. I slept a lot, and got my release orders at 2pm and Lee picked me up. A wheelchair ride to the truck, and a step ladder to get into "Chuck" and we were off home. Amazing how much hurts, bending, reaching, stairs. Tiring easy, heading to be an early night tonight.
