Groovin' on the acreage.

Port Glebe, Westlock, AB (2 stars)

We had a lazy day on the Glebe acreage. It is such a nice place, with Canola growing just past the shelter belt, which is made up of different kinds of trees, including many silver maple. We had supper with the Glebes and then a great time around their firepit. Hobbes also enjoyed wandering around the yard a number of times; his nose was working overtime.

Lez chilled out: It was a quiet day, the Glebe acreage is very peaceful and far from the sounds of traffic. LOL I think of some campgrounds where the rail tracks were close enough to make you wonder if the train was coming thru the campsite or the view out the back window was the highway. Weather was "unremarkable". Dinner was scrumptuous - I am going to have to get that baked potato recipe! A great time with our Port Glebe hosts.
