Prairie sunsets are the best.

Outlook Regional Park (1 star)

We stayed put today, given the blustery weather. There is always another day.

Lee decided today was a good day to fix one of the failed Schooner window blinds. Being one of the wider ones, it has four cords running through it and the amount and complexity of the cord pattern made the Schooner floor look like a weaving mill. But, with Lez's help, he got it done.

The weather settled down in the evening enough to enjoy a campfire and a spectacular sunset.

Lez smiles: Ahhh a prairie sunset. There is nothing like it. One - you can see for miles and miles. And Two - the colours are intense and art inspiring silhouettes are everywhere. Oh - THREE - the skies are overwhelming.

It was a day of editing photos and I didn't get the June 4th ones done. Took too many. BUT when we look back over our journey, the memories are preserved, even if they don't make it into the blog.

We connected with the kids over family dinner. Hard to believe only a week ago we sat around their table! It will be a couple of months before we do that again. What would we do without today's technology. Am very content to be in this world of computers.
