Itching to go.

Port Ordze, Sherwood Park AB (2 stars)

Lee finished the last of the major maintenance items today. A bit of lipstick and mascara, and we're ready to hit the road.

Lez smiles: a great day for a walkabout with 5 other Macarena at Emily Murphy Park along the North Sask, just north of the University. We were masked up, and all have had our first "Shots", Barb got her second this morning. We were hoping we could meet others on Saturday, but recent changes to our provincial Covid restrictions has squashed the get-together at Brenda's. I will have to wait until we get back here in August to visit the rest of the Macarena.

Judy and I took some pictures - flowers, bugs, goslings and the group. We hiked about 3.5 km. Beauty weather - which tonight has turned cold and rainy!

The sewing machine came out after the hike, and 3 quilt blocks made to test the new patterns of QOVC hug blocks. Tomorrow's prediction is rain, so the mid-arm will be set up for some actual quilting on the "Whispers" project.
