The first stitch.

Port Ordze, Sherwood Park AB (2 stars)

After breakfast, Lez took the first big leap with her new Janome QOV-C sewing machine, namely, she made the first stitch. Lee did not hear any swearing and by the end of the day, nothing but praise. Lee took on the task of sorting all our CDs by artist name in preparation for storing them in the cabinet with the stereo. He also designed some additonal shelves to house the CDs. We spent most of the day listening to the Tribute WebFest fundraiser showcasing Canadian tribute bands. Jeff Neil was one of the hosts. Later, Hobbes took Lee for a stroll around the property, with Lee always being at a distance. After about 45 minutes, Hobbes walked up to Lee and meowed as if to say - it's time to go home. And then he led Lee to the Schooner door. What a cat!

Lez smiles: The ol' Elna will now go to Aaron and time to sell the Featherweights.
