Unsuccessful escape by Hobbes

Still moving in, but today we concentrate on clothes and other stuff in the bedroom. Hobbes seems to like having his basket on a box next to the bed, but naps in many other places. We take him out on his harness and leash. After some nosing around with Lez, he succeeds in wiggling out of the harness. Lez grabs him in time, although he does not desire to run away. We need to get a better harness.

Lez laments: why didn't we teach him the leash years ago? DUH - who-da thought we would be on this new journey!
