Map - Radium Hot Springs to Fairmont Hot Springs and the Hoodoo Trail hike

Red Streak Campground, Radium Hot Springs, BC (2 stars)

We haven't done a hike like that for quite a while. When we first took pictures from the bottom of the hoodoos, we were intrigued and had to see it from up top. So, we hiked about one and half clicks to reach the top of those same hoodoos. Amazing views and wonderful to watch the crows and the eagles soar close by.

Ducking the soaring eagles - well, it felt like it. It was spectacular to see the juvy eagles literally playing tag above us. We captured a few good photos, one cropped in close so it soared right over our heads.

We did a hike like we have not done in years, it seems. From Red Streak Campground we drove to Westside Rd off Hwy 93 outside Fairmont Hotsprings where we could walk a trail that had the cameras smoking. It was a 2.8 km trail, uphill LOL. It felt like both ways. The muscles got a workout, and the cameras got over 100 photos. We have culled them down, and hope you enjoy the views we enjoyed today.

A lazy BBQ dinner, and lots of sitting around the firepit this evening. Still no wind, still warm - a super day.
