Head winds and side winds.

Map - Fort Macleod to Olds

Lions Municipal Campground, Olds, AB (2 stars)

Lee notes that the entire trip from Fort Macleod to Olds had either a north head wind or west side wind. The Schooner was still rocking even after we had moored in Olds and put the stabilizers down. A true prairie wind which would probably qualify as a chinook in the winter time.

Tonight it is raining and the winds stopped for a bit but have come up again, with the rain. We are at our computers this evening, catching up with photo edits and blog publishing.

This afternoon the temperature outside was 14C - lower than overnight in Macleod. We actually put the fireplace on, with heat. Quite comfy in here, even if the RV is rocking!
