Last down time in Parksville.

We took it easy today for what will be the last day before we pack the trailer and head for Edmonton. The blog is being updated too.

As usual, it was overcast and light rain.

We visited with Herb and Jan Erwin this afternoon for a bit (and Phoebe too). Such a nice couple to sit and chat with.

The second bed in the motel is covered with various items to pack, more stuff to pack and are still strewn about. Organized chaos.

To add to the managerie are the ants. Yes, the motel room has ants and they are coming out from under the bed we aren't using, and coming out along the baseboard beside our kitchen wall adjacent to the folks in the motel room next to us. Ant bait containers are keeping them down to a few stragglers.

We had a super visit this afternoon with my cousin Herb and wife Jan. Herb's mom, my Aunt Eunice and my mom grew up in Regina.
