Ferried to the island.

Park Sands Beach Resort, Parksville BC (2 stars)

Lee says - up and at 'em at the crack of dawn. Well, around 8 am anyways. We drove from Hope through the Fraser Valley, Surrey and Delta to get to the ferry at Tsawwassen. An uneventful crossing and short drive to Parksville.

We are at Park Sands Resort (next door, more or less, to Surfside RV) for two nights.

Today was what we could call an unremarkable day.

Weather was clear, seas were calm as we took the ferry across to Vancouver Island.

We are in a "holding pattern" awaiting the next Surfside site we will call our port for the winter.

Am looking forward to seeing mom and Ralph again.
